Natural Kraft Java Jackets are made from linerboard composed of 100% recycled paper with approximately 90% post-consumer paper content. It has FDA approval for indirect contact for food packaging applications.* *Temporary Exception: The Scatter Cup Java Jacket is made from linerboard composed of 100% recycled paper, with approximately 35% post-consumer paper content. Can Java Jackets be composted?
Yes, you can shred paperboard into small pieces. Wetting it makes it easier to tear, or make a wet slurry and turn it (mix) into the compost. If you have a lot, consider recycling instead. |
