Java Jackets are made with recycled paper. The jackets themselves are also reusable and recyclable. 14. What are Natural Kraft Java Jackets made of? Natural Kraft Java Jackets are made from linerboard composed of 100% recycled paper with approximately 90% post-consumer paper content. It has FDA approval for indirect contact for food packaging applications.* *Temporary Exception: The Scatter Cup Java Jacket is made from linerboard composed of 100% recycled paper, with approximately 35% post-consumer paper content. All Java Jackets are 100% reusable, 100% recycleable, 100% compostable.

Can Java Jackets be composted?
Yes, you can shred paperboard into small pieces. Wetting it makes it easier to tear, or make a wet slurry and turn it (mix) into the compost. If you have a lot, consider recycling instead. |
